At ActiveCampaign, we thrive on innovation and growth. Our amazing customers consistently highlight the expanding benefits of marketing automation and how ActiveCampaign drives their success.
From one small business customer in 2003 to over 150,000 customers of all sizes today, our mission has always been rooted in helping these companies grow through the advantage of powerful automation capabilities. We are every marketer’s partner, advisor, and colleague, helping them improve and scale their current and future customer experiences.
As we continue to add new features and functionality and receive feedback from our customers, we are revising our plans and pricing. These updates will make our plans simpler, more competitive, and more accessible.
So, what exactly is being updated? At a high level:
- The barrier of entry to ActiveCampaign is now lower: We created a new entry-level plan tier known as the “Starter” plan. This plan starts at $15 a month for 1,000 contacts and replaces our former Lite plan (which started at $29 a month for 1,000 contacts).
- Plans are now set up to maximize value for the price: Previously, you could buy ActiveCampaign as either a Marketing package, a Sales package, or a bundle of both. To ensure each business gets the maximum value for their price, we have sunset the Sales and bundled packages. Instead, our CRM is available in all plan tiers with two different enhanced CRM capabilities offered as add-ons:
- Pipeline Management: Providing essential tools for tracking and managing your sales pipeline, including deals, owners, related tasks, etc.
- Pipeline Management with Sales Engagement: Including all the features of the Pipeline Management add-on, plus 1:1 sales engagement emails and popular AI tools like win probability and sentiment analysis. These are now offered in addition to our existing add-ons like Custom Reporting, SMS, and Transactional Email to give customers more flexibility in choosing the tools they need to run their businesses.
- Creating more flexibility in our contact bands: One of the major areas we’ve heard feedback on is how our current contact bands are structured and how the gaps between them are too large. For example, previously, if a customer went over 10,000 contacts, they needed to upgrade to 25,000 contacts, which is a big jump. We want to keep ActiveCampaign accessible and to do so, we are introducing 7,500, 15,000, 20,000, 30,000, and 40,000 contacts bands. So, rather than upgrading from 10,000 to 25,000, customers can upgrade to 15,000 or 20,000 first. Additionally, plan tiers used to start at different contact bands, and now all plan tiers start at 1,000 contacts.
Our new plans and pricing make it more affordable for customers to get started with ActiveCampaign or upgrade to the next tier (getting access to more features for a lower price).
Every small business seeking solutions for email marketing and marketing automation has a plan built just for them, with the essentials to get them started. Additionally, our updated Plus, Professional, and Enterprise plans offer businesses seeking more advanced features, omnichannel marketing capabilities, and enterprise-level security the right value at the right price.
As always, if you have any questions or need support, please reach out to our customer experience team. We are happy to help.
We are thrilled to make our platform even more accessible to businesses worldwide and see more businesses grow through the power of marketing automation.
