What your day could consist of:
Responsible for month-end close processes for various complex accounting such as capitalized software development cost and stock-based compensation Preparation of monthly financial statements and analysesAssist in drafting quarterly and annual U.S. GAAP consolidated financial statements, related disclosures, and supporting analyses/schedules for our global organization.Research accounting literature and prepare position papers for technical accounting areasWork with external auditors and subject matter experts on the timely resolution of technical accounting matters Assist team with special projects as neededWhat is needed:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, CPA or progress towards CPA required3+ years of experience in accounting-related work (Big 4 public accounting preferred)Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience researching technical accounting topics, financial reporting experience a significant plus Experience with international consolidations, balance sheet reconciliations, and translations, including foreign currency accounting issues, a significant plusAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with employees at all levels of the organization and manage relationships with external partiesIntermediate to advanced level experience with Microsoft ExcelGeneral understanding of Sage Intacct or other comparable ERP systems is preferredCompensation:
