Things come up and plans change. Someone excited for your event may no longer need to attend and request a refund. By automating a wonderful customer experience, you’re more likely to see that contact at a later event.
This automation sends out an email setting expectations for a refund when an Eventbrite event has a status of refunded. You’ll need to integrate your Eventbrite account with ActiveCampaign before importing this automation.
Here’s how Eventbrite: Event Refunded works:
1. The automation is triggered when an Eventbrite event is updated with a status of “refunded”.
2. The contact arrives at a “send email” action, sending out an email saying you’re sorry the contact can no longer attend and outlining your refund process.
3. The contact exits the automation.
