Subscriptions can be the lifeblood of a modern business. The contact pays a monthly or yearly fee to access your product and you can forecast based on this known income. That’s why it’s so important to follow up swiftly when a subscription is canceled.
This automation tracks the date of the subscription cancelation and sends a notification to your team when a cancelation event is received by Mollie.
Here’s how Mollie: Track Canceled Subscription and Offer Support works:
1. The automation is triggered when a subscription canceled event is received by Mollie for the contact.
2. The contact then goes to an update contact field action, having a custom date field tracking the cancelation date to the current time.
3. The contact arrives at a send notification step, triggering an email to be sent to your team.
4. The contact exits the automation.
Note: You will need to build a custom date field for tracking the cancelation date. Do so before importing this automation.
Note: Use personalization tags in your notification action to pull important information in, such as the reason for canceling and other important information you may be capturing in a cancelation form.
