If you’re selling tickets to your event, then it’s smart to have a refund policy in place. Sometimes people sign up for an event and are excited to go, but scheduling conflicts or unforeseen issues come up and prevent them from going. ActiveCampaign’s integration with Postmark and Eventbrite help processing and communicating these refunds easy.
This automation is triggered when an Eventbrite event is updated with a status of order refunded. The contact is then sent an email from Postmark. Before importing this recipe, you’ll need to integrate your Postmark account, integrate your Eventbrite account, and design your email campaign in the Templates section of ActiveCampaign.
This is how Postmark: Eventbrite Event Refund Notification works:
1. The contact enters the automation when their Eventbrite event is updated with a status of order refunded.
2. The contact arrives at a “Send a transactional email” step and is sent a transactional email.
3. The contact exits the automation.
