If a highly engaged contact can mean a willing audience for reviews and testimonials, then what can you glean from a contact with low engagement?
While you may not be reaching out to this audience to opt them into new programs and ask for reviews, identifying this audience is a great first step in improving their customer experience. You can prevent churn and a contact losing interest by finding out why the contact hasn't been engaging and start winning the contact back.
This automation is triggered when a contact's engagement score falls below a specified threshold. The contact then has a "low engagement" tag added. Import all the recipes in our Highly Engaged Tagging automation recipe series to set up a great system using scoring.
Here's how this automation works:
1. The contact enters the automation when their score falls below a specified threshold.
2. The contact then arrives at an Add Tag action and has a "Low Engagement" tag added.
Note: You will need to build a score for engagement in the Manage Scoring section of your account before importing this automation.
Note: Choose the threshold you would like the contact to fall beneath to be considered "Low Engagement". In our example, we have the trigger set to below 15.
