Using ActiveCampaign's powerful integration with PayPal, this automation sends a thank you message on purchase. The message that is sent is dependent on if it's the contact's first time purchasing or not by using a tag that is added to the contact after their first message is sent.
Here's how this automation works:
1. The contact enters the automation when they complete an order with PayPal.
2. An If/Else action checks to see if a contact has the tag "Repeat Customer".
3. If the contact does not have the tag, they go down the "No" path and receive the tag "Repeat Customer" and are sent the "Thank You" message for first time purchasers.
4. If the contact does have the tag, then they go down the "Yes" path and are sent the "Thank You" message for repeat customers.
